European Union and innovation: on 20 June the Info Day EIC will be held in Rovereto, a day entirely dedicated to the European Innovation Council programmes to support entrepreneurial and research projects. After an initial informative part on the general framework, there will be testimonials from companies awarded EIC calls and one-to-one meetings during which it will be possible to present your own project proposal.
The event is organised by Trentino Sviluppo and the Trentino Innovation Hub Foundation (HIT).

The European Innovation Council
The European Union plays a key role in supporting the development and growth of startups and small and medium-sized enterprises, which are a driver of innovation and job creation. The European Innovation Council acts as a bridge between the entrepreneurial ecosystem and EU resources. Through a combination of funding, mentorship, networking and access to state-of-the-art research infrastructure, it helps startups and SMEs turn their innovative ideas into successful products and services on the market.
The EIC was established as part of the Horizon Europe programme and has a budget of EUR 10 billion to support innovations throughout their entire life cycle, from early-stage research, proof of concept, technology transfer, funding and the creation of start-ups and SMEs.
Info Day EIC: how the event is structured
As the name of the initiative implies, the Info Day EIC is first and foremost an informative event, where startups, spinoffs, companies and researchers will be provided with the essential tools to successfully participate in EIC calls for proposals and take advantage of funding opportunities for research and innovation.

- Operational sessions on funding programmes
- Testimonies of researchers, start-ups and SMEs awarded EICs
