Just a few days to go before SMAU Milano 2023, the event dedicated to innovation that will be held at FieraMilanoCity on 18 and 19 October. As every year, Trentino will participate in this important exhibition with a selection of local startups, which will have the opportunity to present their innovative solutions to the public and meet important players from Italy and around the world. These are already well-known and active players in the Trentino innovation ecosystem: most of them have been protagonists of the Investor Day and the Trentino Startup Valley accompanying programme, initiatives designed to support the growth and success of the best new business ideas.
Trentino startups at SMAU Milan 2023
Five innovative companies have been selected by Trentino Sviluppo to represent the territory at SMAU Milano. Their participation is aimed at developing business relations, industrial and financial partnerships, open innovation projects and co-innovation activities, encouraging inter-regional and international cross-fertilization processes. All five startups operate in the target sectors of this edition: Technologies for the Environment and Land Monitoring and Enabling Technologies for Digital Transition.
B-ZERO
Grown quickly through two crowdfunding campaigns, B-ZERO has 174 members and runs a platform to access advanced Blockchain services. At SMAU, it is presenting Notarify3, the SaaS platform known as 'Dropbox Web3', a document management system that enables automatic Blockchain digital certification. The platform is all-in-one and protects the user from a legal point of view. Unlike those for traditional use, the certification is eternal and applies without territorial boundaries.
CherryChain
CherryChain, one of the startups featured on Investor Day 2022, offers financial and non-financial operators a Blockchain-based Distributed Know Your Customer (DKYC) procedure. Tested in 2023 in a regulatory SandBox at the Bank of Italy, the solution enables the safekeeping of customer data and documents, enabling the secure and tracked exchange of information for risk profile assessment when opening new relations, contracts and for subsequent updates.
FRM
FRM operates in the agritech sector and specialises in the design and development of vertical farming in high-pressure aerobics. Also this startup took part in last year's Investor Day and is currently settled in the production spaces of Be Factory in Progetto Manifattura, the greentech incubator of Trentino Sviluppo. FRM's technology is a useful solution for pharmaceutical companies, research centres, cosmetic companies and producers of diagnostic tests.
ALPINVISION
ALPINVISION was one of the startups participating in the Bootstrap phase of the fourth edition of Trentino Startup Valley, the acceleration path for new business ideas of the Trentino Innovation Hub Foundation - HIT. The company is accelerating the energy transition and sustainable development of mountain communities thanks to a collaborative online platform, where the various stakeholders can find services, analytical tools and useful information to play an active role in this process.
Certiblok
Among the startups that participated in Trentino Startup Valley and will present their innovative technologies at SMAU Milan 2023 is Certiblok. The company offers a DRM® - Document Relationship Management - platform to manage and share documents, exploiting Blockchain technology to ensure complete and secure control over them.
