This year, for the first time, two events "made in Trentino" are part of the official Biotech Week program (September 24 - October 1). Organized by Trentino Sviluppo, the events highlight the region’s excellence in life sciences.
Biotech Week, launched in Canada in 2003 and reaching Europe in 2013, celebrates the role of biotechnology in improving quality of life. Trentino’s participation is an opportunity to showcase local research and entrepreneurship.

Online Premiere of the short documentary "Trentino: Present and Future of Life Sciences" at 16:00 on Trentino Sviluppo's YouTube channel.
The 30-minute documentary explores local biotech companies and research systems, featuring prominent institutions like CIBIO (University of Trento), Fondazione Bruno Kessler, and more.
October 1:
Life Sciences Hub Guided Tour & Seminar
From 16:00 to 17:00, participants can explore the laboratories at the newly inaugurated Life Sciences Hub in Pergine Valsugana. The seminar, led by Stefano Cantù (CEO of CSO Pharmitalia), will discuss the challenges of bringing biotech products to market. It will be followed by a networking aperitif from 17:45 to 18:30.
The Life Sciences Hub offers state-of-the-art facilities for biotech startups and companies, supporting innovation and competitiveness.
