Mozart ESG Academy call is now open

The Mozart ESG Academy arrives in Trentino, an exceptional training program focused on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability for SMEs, startups, and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to tackle future challenges with the right tools. The program includes three two-hour webinars in English that will provide a comprehensive overview of ESG topics, from legislative aspects to the stages required for creating a sustainability report. At the end of the course, three selected startups will also receive an assessment.

The Mozart ESG Academy is a new training opportunity within the Interreg VI A Italy-Austria ITAT-11-014 program, promoted by a network of eight partners from Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto, and Carinthia, aimed at strengthening the cross-border startup network, fostering the creation of an international community, and promoting smart growth in the European economy.

What is the Mozart ESG Academy?

Project objective

To prepare participants for the main challenges related to sustainability, understood in the three dimensions of economic, social, and governance.

Target audience

  • Those who are developing an entrepreneurial idea of various kinds
  • Those founding or who have recently founded a startup (up to 3 years old as of the application date)

The webinars

The program is structured in three themed modules in English, each building on the previous, with each session lasting about two hours. Dates are as follows: November 13, 2024; February 5, 2025; March 12, 2025.

Training will be provided by AiCARR Formazione with a thematic contribution from CNR (National Research Council).

Topics covered

  • Sustainability and ESG: definitions and key themes
  • Legislation and standards on ESG aspects
  • Importance for companies and current demands from clients and/or banks
  • Steps to achieve sustainability reporting and/or a sustainability report
  • Examples of the evaluation process: ESG aspects

At the end of the three meetings, a pilot ESG assessment is planned, selecting three startups (one per macro-region). The training will conclude with a final report comparing the three conducted assessments.

Mozart ESG Academy: How to Apply

Applications must be submitted through the appropriate application form by Monday, November 4.

To ensure quality training, a maximum of 30 participants will be selected, based on eligibility and the order of application submission.
